If any of the parents have any type of allergic tendencies like skin, nasal, asthma etc then their children have more chances of having some sort respiratory allergies. The myth of dependency around use of inhalers is baseless! If there is a problem , then it needs to be treated before permanent damage sets in. Inhalers/ Rotahaler a/ accuhalers etc are better because of the amount of medicine is in micrograms hence less side effects rather taking oral medications like tablets syrups.
For kids, inhalers to be used with spacers. Nebulisation for emergencies.
