Let him sleep. You can plug baby's ear. If awakes give something to suck- pacifier , breast feeding etc to normalise the air pressure change

Let the baby sleep. May wake up and cry and that is okay. Don't feed (contrary to what would be advised by air hostess)

If the baby is sleeping soundly let the baby sleep. In case he is awake then give him some pacifier to suck on it because change in air pressure during landing and take off may hurt child’s ears.
