Local anaesthesia is given in dental treatment.it numbs only the surrounding part of the injected spot .It doesn't affect other body parts or function.numbness does go after 2-3 hours or in some patients it may take longer then that but not for days.may be medicines given to her are causing drowsiness .as she is old enough and body can't resist very heavy dosage .Check with your dentist.
