AFI is 7.4
Hi Sir / Mam, I am 38 weeks pregnant. Had growth scan. Amniotic Fluid level is 7.4 and baby weight is 2.9 kg. Could you please let me know AFI is normal or very low? Kindly help me on this.

It's on the slight lower side..Lowe limit to say it as normal is 8.. but if the fetal Doppler is normal and if the CTG is normal, take arginine sachets and plenty of oral fluids and keep a watch over baby kicks count and can wait for labour pains to start.. And the weight of baby is adeqaute

Its not very low, but its on the lower side, since your already 38 weeks you can be induced for labour if all other parameters are good

Afi is not normal It's low More than ten is normal U need urgent admission fr delivery
