Affect of contrast MRI if I am pregnant

Asked for Female, 33 Years

I just had a contrast MRI done today 27th January 2018 in the pelvic region...My last period started o 8th January ....I will not know if I am pregnant till first week of February..... In case I am ...Will it affect my foetus because of the contrast MRI?

Contrast is not permitted in pregnancy. It can negatively impact the pregnancy. You will have to wait to take a pregnancy test. Keep in mind to do any imaging Only after periods. MRI is safe pregnancy otherwise if it’s without contrast
