Advice for a new surgery/Groin pain

Asked for Male, 27 Years

Hi so I have had groin pain for about 4 years now. Long story short I had a shady hernia surgery to correct the problem and it made it worse. I got a new dr that wants to do a blind spermatic cord block. I am so scared to go through with this because of what happened with the last surgery. Also because my pain isn't so much in my testicle but really my groin and more behind everything. Feels like something being squeezed behind everything. Any info or advice would so helpful.
