Asked for Female, 18 Years

I found out my boyfriend may have Genital Warts, he's been reading about it online and is confused how it just now started up when the person he thinks gave it to him is long gone (years). So I think he suspects it's me,but I know it can't be me, he's my first in years I tested for everything before we did anything, he wasn't because he said he knows he don't have. Anything, before me he had many partners, I didn't. I need all the information I can get, why did it take so long? . I need advice

Genital warts are due to sexually transmitted disease and flare up when immunity decreases. Usually girls acquire infection from boys. Who harbour the organism without much symptoms. He needs to be examined and accordingly treated.. U also need examination
