Hi, MRI scan reveals ACL Tear in Left Knee. Doctor suggests arthroscopic surgery. Below is the MRI Scan summary for your reference. Request your guidance whether operation required. Partial intrasubstance tear (high grade tear) visualized predominantly involving proximal fibers of anterior cruciate ligament. Mild partial strain visualized in proximal fibers of posterior cruciate ligament. No obvious tear visualized. Horizontal tear visulaized extending over anterior horn, bodyand posterior horn of lateral meniscus. small vertical tear visualized in anterior horn of lateral mensicus Medial meniscus appears slightly thinned out/attenuated.
