Acidity and constipation first trimester
Hi,
My wife is 2 months pregnant. She has been prescribed susten 200 after her first viability scan due to a slight SCH(without any bleeding). During the first week, it was twice a day and once thereafter. After taking this tablet, she started facing severe constipation. When checked with her doctor, she asked her to take the tablet during alternate days but with complete bed rest. So I would like to know any home remedies that would ease the problem. Her next scan is on 21st November.

Eat fresh vegetables & fruits. Take plenty of fluids.
If constipation not relieved take syrup Duphalac 30ml at bedtime for 5-7 days.
