I have slight pain near Achilles tendon region while I walk. I had this pain from couple of days which was not severe. I played football today morning and the pain has increased now. There is no swelling yet. If I rest my heel and toe pointing upward and try to stretch I can feel the pain. Pain is slightly more while I keep walking. Could you suggest what I should be doing?

I think you have insertional tendinopathy of tendo Achilles and need proper clinical evaluation and imaging to confirm that diagnosis.
You can rest and take anti inflammatory medication but if not relieved we can cure you with ESWT.
