About seizures medicine
My baby girl 4 years old. She is taking medicine for fits on daily basis. Morning she takes 1 yopamac and 4ml valparin syrup. Night she takes 1 and half topomac, 1 frisium snd 5ml valparin syrup. She got fever last Saturday and till now fever is there. Paracetamol does not work for her. So giving combiflam syrup. Our doctor told to reduce valparin syrup. Can we reduce the present valparin dose( 4ml-5ml) as per below schedule . Please guide. 4ml for 2 days then 3ml -4ml for 2 days then finally 3ml - 3ml.

Does she have paracetamol allergy? How did you come to conclusion it doesn't work? Combiflam syrup also contains paracetamol. Also till 5 years fever can cause seizures as well. If the cause of seizures is evaluated then dosage can be treated depending on it.
