Mild fever and rash can occur after Varilrix/Priorix vaccination and are usually not serious. These vaccine-related rashes commonly appear 5–12 days after vaccination, though other viral rashes can also happen coincidentally.
If the child is active, feeding well, and the rash is mild without breathing difficulty or swelling, you can monitor at home and give paracetamol only if fever/discomfort occurs.
Please seek urgent pediatric review if there is high fever, breathing difficulty, facial swelling, excessive sleepiness, persistent vomiting, purple/non-blanching rash, or rapidly spreading rash. If possible, share clear photos of the rash with your pediatrician for better assessment.

temperature of 98.1°F is completely normal and is not considered a fever.Mild red rashes on the limbs can occur after receiving Varilrix or Priorix. This is typically a harmless immune response and often resolves without treatment.Monitor your daughter closely to ensure she remains active and well-hydrated.Seek immediate medical care if she develops a high fever or breathing problems.
