About my baby diet
Hello all my baby is 11 monthes old.She was formula feeding girl, because i have no breast milk. Now a days she was refusing to take solid and semi solid foods.Iam interested to feed all kinds of fruits and veggies.Daily i fed fruits like grapes, kiwis, banana, avacado and also boiled egg yolk. But iam worried about her health .Due to formula milk i thought that she might have less calcium.I started using calcium syrup for her.Recently i observed that she is licking wall.I stopped her doing this kind of things. But in my absence she may be doing.I want my baby healthy.can anyone suggest why babies lick walls? any medicine to stop this? Any vaccine required for her health. From the last month i started feeding buffalo milk . shall i continue or switch to cow milk? Iam a vegeterian. Please suggest me.iam so much worried about her health...

Hi, thanks for writing to practo consult. DO NOT WORRY, kids are fussy eaters at times. But I must say, You r really pumping baby with good food. About licking wall-- is she dewormed at 9months age? If no , get her seen by your doctor for same. (Its called pica.) There is no vaccine for that, though I believe being a vigilant mother you must have started her protection with other vaccine for pneumonia, typhoid etc. Eating 2 eggs a day, and drinking 1 L milk gives equal nutrition to baby, so you can make choice, but don't feed more than 750 ml milk per day. What is your babies weight and length ?
