Thank you for your query You have correctly started your baby on complimentary feeding at 6 months of age His weight is normal for his age So don’t worry about him drinking less milk Also this makes it easier for you to slowly add variety to his diet Always follow the 5 day rule—one new food can be introduced every 5-6 days only

The idea is to keep milk consumption to  decrease as baby grows up. Henceforth keep on increasing complimentry feed which are more energy dense than milk . He is behaving normally and is good thing you can continue breast feeds and keep increasing his complimentry feeds in quantity . Do not worry at all about his less milk intake . He is growing well as his weight has more than trebled in 6 months  hence no worries
Next Steps
continue home cooked food  no need for  ready made products like nestum  as they are not superior to home food but can use nestum while travelling on vacation etc. introduce  all seasonal fruits not just  apple .
