Hi sir, past I don't diabetics but now Iam tested glucose tolerance test and HbA1c .GTT gave pre diabetics and HbA1c is 8.which one is correct for entry stage and now Iam prediabe or diabetic. Doctor give medication Gemer 0.5 for 1 week only then after glycomet 250 2times per day.

Hello Hb1Ac reflects blood sugar control of last 6 to 8 weeks.. And your Hb1Ac 8 suggest u r definitely having diabetes.. U need to consult Endocrinologist for management of diabetes with lifestyle modifications, medicine for glucose control , diet and management of Co morbidity...
