A normal delivery usually occurs at around 40 weeks when the baby's lung maturity is good. A baby born before 37 weeks is considered preterm Your pregnancy is what we label as a precious pregnancy Your doctor will be calling you every week to monitor you and decide the best time for your delivery for your baby's safety and yours

Glad to note about a successful IVF gestation. I would keep an eye on your baby's growth, amniotic fluid volume and if necessary on umbilical artery Doppler at a 2 - 3 week interval. If there is a problem delivery may be considered sooner than 40 weeks with steroid injection  cover for enhancing baby's lung maturity. There is no absolute cut offs to say there will not be a problem after 32 weeks and similarly at 40 weeks. The probabilities of problems are reduced to minimal at 40 weeks compared to 32 weeks. So keep an eye on your baby's movements. The probabilities of babies need extra help and needing  neonatal intensive care reduces after 36 weeks. Good luck with your pregnancy.
