About CRP levels
I have 9 months old baby boy.he had a problem fluctuations in CRP levels .two times admitted in the hospital. Their given IV injections but CRP levels not decrease still have CRP 51.now we r at home.baby is active and feeding and oral food taking asusal.we are using calcium and multivitamin syrup.how to we know CRPdecrease or not. All tests are normal (TD eco, abdomen, sonography.uric acid,all types of blood tests) but we don't know why CRP level not decrease.this issue is problem of baby health.i don't know what we do. please help and suggest

51 CRP is definitely very high and need to find out the cause. You mentioned all your reports are normal. I would suggest once your antibiotics course is over get urine culture done for 3 consecutive days. As your child is active playful and doing good, then nothing to worry.

CRP up to 5-6 is considered normal unless any significant clinical issues !
