Abortion of 7 weeks
Hi,. My wife had abortion on 4th Jan, today it becomes 2 weeks of abortion. Still she is bleeding with some small clots.she is having abdominal pain when she walks. I want to know still how many days bleeding will be there. When I go for the ultrasound scan and how can I know abortion is completed. For scanning bleeding should stops right. Please suggest me on this.

Get an ultrasound done and check for retained products if any retained products get an d and c done

On ultrasound it will show whether there are any retained products and if there are, whether it can be treated medically or surgically.

Get the ultrasound done, it's not necessary for bleeding to stop to get the scan. It's already 2 weeks, bleeding should have stopped by this time. Get the scan done

Get ultrasound pelvis done to rule out retained products of conception. No need to wait till bleeding stops.
