Abnormal sperm percentage is 20%
Hello. We have decided for second child so due to me being 37 year old but with moderate weight of 68kgs, I decided to do a semen analysis test before trying for baby. My semen analysis test says that Sperm count is 180 million/ml, whitish in color, progressive motility as 70% and non progressive motility indicating as 10%. Impression is Normospermia but my biggest worry is that, the morphology is indicating that 80% sperms are normal but 20% are abnormal in shape. Is this a problem in conception? Also, I am worried that what happens if abnormal sperm fertilizes the egg? Will it affect baby's health? Also, most importantly, if the semen is more than 5 days old, does it starts accumulating more inactive/dead/aged sperms? Please advise in detail. Thanks in advance.
