Abdominal Pain

Asked for Male, 60 Years

My father is suffering from abdominal pain since one week. He has lost considerable weight. The pain occurs whenever he doesn't eat for a period or in the morning. He is a diabetic. The local doctor said it's normal. No sonography has been taken yet. Either or diabetes has led to weight loss and tiredness.

Weight loss and pain abdomen with age of mite than 60 , he should be evaluated thoroughly .He may require a upper Gastroscopy to rule out presence of any ulcer/ erosions/ mass. He may require a C.T abdomen after a physical examination depending upon the site of pain.
