Abdomen X Ray While 4 weeks pregnant
We had unusual situation when we had done tail bone x-ray for detecting fracture. In x-ray we found hairline crack in tail bone. After digonasis doctor has asked for 1 month rest along with some medicine. Later on after week we found out that she is pregnant with 6 weeks. When we consulted gynocologist, she said that 99% baby will be fine 1 % chances are that it might not be healthy. Now we are in situation that we want child desperately but also worried if it would be normal or not. What we should do ? Shall we keep it or abort? Considering that my wife has PCOD problem. It was our first chance. Please advise!

Your doc is rightly said. As radiation exposure occurred in very early pregnancy, Developing baby is resistant to radiation effect. Also single exposure to x ray has minimal radiation.
