9 month baby suffering from fever
My 9month baby is having fever of 101 degree.. he also has running nose as well dry coughing.. all this just started in the evening.. gave him 1ml crocin drops since then.. but there is no improvement..

Most fevers in children are viral in origin and take 3-7 days to subside completely.
Just give paracetamol for fever and repeat every 4 hours if required.
If mild,just give steam inhalations for cold and cough and decongestant nasal drops for nasal block or increased cough on lying down.
If not improving in 3 days OR accompanied by other symptoms like wheezing or breathlessness or dullness and refusal to feed,consult your paediatrician or me.
