9 month baby little burn by hot iron

My 9 month baby burnt little 1 cm on hand with hot iron, I apply colgate on it for one hour, but now it is red and little bump also, is it serious, what I shall do,

Please wash the wound thoroughly with soap and water Apply silver sulphadiazine ointment over the wound and don’t cover it. Don’t apply Colgate or any other form of native treatment.It may serious infection . So see a nearby paediatrician immediately

Hi... Plz colgate is for brushing our teeth not for other uses... When ever there is a burn try to keep that part in normal room temperature water (not cool water) for 10-15 min. Bump with water inside implies second degree burn. Kindly visit any clinic nearby and get dressing done..
