Only gallstones less than 2mm can be treated via Udiliv tablets ..there too the success rate of treatment with medicines is less... hence the preferred treatment for gallstone disease is LAPAROSCOPIC CHOLECYSTECTOMY.
The stones can slip below into the Common bile duct and cause obstructive jaundice... also long term gall stones are a risk factor for gall bladder cancer.
