6weeks baby is awake most of the times
My 6weeks baby girl doesn't sleep for long hrs. Recently she woke up at 7:30am and slept at 5pm. Is it normal? Does new born baby do like this?

Sleep Cycle in smaller babies is very different and they have a certain pattern initially  which becomes regularize at around 6 to 8 months of age and if the baby is comfortable with no irritability because of infantile colic nasal blockage any regurgitation etc  you should not worry just give a comfortable position to the baby and no medicine is required.
