6 week pregnant
I am 6 week pregnant and had a miscarriage in January, I was 5 weeks pregnant then. I never had any fertility treatment and my health was always good. My weight is 55kgs and height is 5'2". I lead a very healthy lifestyle and do not eat junk food or outside food. Periods were always regular and there was no pain or health issues as such. I consulted a gynaecologist and my early pregnancy scan was conducted. I am attaching the report of scan. The doctor has prescribed some medicines and weekly injections till 16 weeks. I am worried if I actually need all that and if at all its required. Following are the medicines : Susten 200mg(twice a day) Duphaston tabs(once a day) Sysfol active tabs (once a day) I am also attaching the copy of prescribed injections. Please give a genuine advice about it. Should I continue with all this or not.

Congrats on your pregnancy. If you have conceived spontaneously with out any drugs and there is no history recurrent miscarriages, I usually don t recommend my patients on duphaston or susten. Having said this there is no rights or wrongs in this as the intention of my colleague who started you on meds would be for you to have a healthy pregnancy, hence meds for supporting your pregnancy.so do continue on what has been started. Please get a scan to assess for twins and well-being in two weeks as suggested good luck.
