6 months baby cough, cold, fever
Hi sir,ma'am 6 month old daughter has 99-100.5 fever since 2 days and goes away for 12 hours after 1 ml crocin and come back For coughing and cold doctor gave Brozeet LS and Sinarest AF, noticed baby vomited cough mucus like sticky clear twice after these medicines...is it normal or anything to worry? Pls guide for fast recovery..

This all is expected in a viral respiratory infection. Continue the treatment. It takes 4 days for a viral fever to go away. If the baby is less active or not feeding, then please visit a pediatrician for recheck. Otherwise continue the same

Give fever medicine if fever more than 99.5 or 6hourly. Use nasal saline drop. Continue breastfeeding watch for danger signs.

Give crosin drops only if fever more than 99.5 f Use saline drops 1 drop each nostril 10-15 minutes prior feeding
