6 month baby cold and diarrhea
My 6-month-old boy has a cold since 10 days, and after starting the prescribed medication(cetrizine), he has been having diarrhea since 6 days. He is passing watery stool 3-4 times in a day, which is sometimes yellow and sometimes greenish yellow, has white strings like something sticky every time.
Solid which we were giving is same previously and now(veg puree). We've started iron supplments at the same time.
Is this due to cold or medication or iron or anything else?

Loose stool could be because of infection.
It is not because of cetrizine or iron drops .
Keep him hydrated , can give ORS .
Breast feed frequently.

Loose stools can be due to infection. It can not be because of cetrizine or iron.
Stools can change from Loose to firm consistency in the first year of life. So stool problems associated with other symptoms like abdominal distension, vomiting should be consulted to a doctor. Home based foods do not cause Loose stools.
