5 week pregnant but no gestation sac
Hello Doctor, My last menstrual period was on 21st June and I had sex on the 18th day of my cycle i.e 8th July. I took an emergency contraceptive pill after 22 hours but I still missed a period. When I took a pregnancy test on 26th July, it came out postive. On 27th July, I went for a transvaginal ultrasound but it didn't show anything. I was probably 5 weeks 2 days pregnant by then. Was it too early for an ultrasound.? Should I be concerned?
