It's 5day after RTPCR confirms Covid with CT value 23-24. Fever not subsiding from 100.6°F so HRCT Done which has CT Value 5 of 25.
Fasting Sugar was 196 took GlimyM2Fort (Metaformin 1000 & Glimipride 2mg) at 10am after breakfast.
In lunch took 2 Chapati, Daal, 3tsp rice at 2:30pm, at 7:45 pm random Sugar is 344.
Should I opt for Direct insulin as I can't takt more then 2 tab of GlimyM2Fort in a day. If yes, need more info.

Yes due to infection ur sugars are high so need to start on insulin and monitor sugars as u are already on max dose of oral tablets. Kindly consult
