4 weeks pregnant, is folic acid crucial?
I found out a few days ago I am pregnant. My OBGYn prescribed progesterone, dydrogrogesterone, cholecalciferol, L-methylfolate calcium, and multivitamin that contains no folic acid or iron. I read online as well as heard from different women that it's important to take folic acid at this time. Is this something my doctor neglected to tell me? She doesn't have patience and understanding towards my queries.

Yes folic acid is necessary to take in early pregnancy. Rest medication depends on your history and complaints

She has given you L-methylfolate Calcium. It contains some amount of Folate, but not as much as Tab Folic acid has.
