4 month peeing a lot
Hi, my baby boy is 4 months old, weighs 7.5kg, 65 cm. (birth weight:3.25 kg, 50 cm height). His urine frequency is very high. He passes stools 1-2 times a day, but pees almost 20 times in a day. Usually after feeds he pees every 10 -15 mins. Is this normal? Should I be worried ? Kindly advise. FYI, He is mostly on formula feed. Thanks

Greetings Your baby's frequent urination is entirely normal because his bladder is very small and an all-liquid formula diet creates high fluid turnover. His exceptional growth from 3.25 kg to 7.5 kg proves he is thriving and absorbing his nutrients perfectly.Peeing every 10 to 15 minutes after a feeding is a healthy, automatic reflex triggered by his stomach stretching.
