Any bleeding during early pregnancy is called a threatened abortion, it means/ shows... that the pregnancy can end or small blood vessel could have ruptured and it's bleeding...etc. So it's necessary to do a scan and see for the viability of pregnancy or for signs of clot. Treatment is like to support with progesterone and bed rest if scan is good.
