2 periods in a month after taking IPILL
Hi My friend started having 2 periods in a month (it's been 2 months now and she already had 4 periods) after she took a contraceptive pill. Is is due to its side effect or any correlation between them? If not what could be the other possible reasons and what is the treatment/cure she should go for ?

Mostly it is effect of emergency contraceptive pill.If you having regular sex better to use oral contraceptive pill instead of emergency contraceptive pill.If she is having doubt of pregnancy confirm by Bhcg.It is confirmatory test.

Yes its due to the side effects of emergency contraception pill that she has taken. However do a urine pregnancy test too , to be sure that she s not pregnant. If negative nothing more to be done
