103.6 Fever for my 15 month old Son

My Son has been running high fever (102-103.6) for close to 24 hrs on and off. He weighs around 8.3kgs. Have been giving him Calpol Paediatric Drops 1.3 ml that was suggested by our paediatrician. However the fever keeps coming back and we are giving Calpol drops every 4 hrs or so. Is there any other alternative medicine that can me effective over high fever? Of so what will be the dosage as per his weight and age?

Dear parents, Fever is symptom of under lying disease and paracetamol only reduces temperature for 4hours. Better to consult a Paediatrician near by to find the cause of fever.
