My 2 year old daughter is having 100 fever from today evening. I have ibugesic plus at home. Can I give her ibugesic plus and wait for some time or should I consult a pediatrician?

hi if the child throws up temperature more than 100 then please give paracetamol/calpol syp , every 6hrs only if it is continous , i would personally like to avoid ibugesic plus as it has both brufen & paracetamol since it causes unnecessary dosing of the child with two drugs , it would be better to get the child checked , if not in person atleast video consult! thanks

If you can consult that will be great. For time being you should give paracetamol 120 mg 5 ml every 4 hourly whenever temperature is more than 100. You can also do tepid sponging if temperature doesn’t come down with medication.
