Hello Doctor, I am a rehabilitation center counselor and have been living alone since 2004 (for the last 22 years). When I am working at rehab centers in Delhi or Patiala for 2-4 months, my routine stays perfectly fine. However, when I return to my hometown for 2-3 months, I experience extreme loneliness. Since I cannot cook, my eating schedule gets completely disrupted, which further ruins my sleep cycle. To cope with this and get some relief, I have started taking various tablets on my own. I want to consult and confirm if this approach is safe, and how I can properly manage this situation. Please guide me

Please you can keep a young relative or close friend, or care giver, help him or her in their advancement and let them give you company and help you with chores. Another option is to join a tiffin center for food, try to eat, sleep and wake up at fixed time, otherwise it can affect your health at this age.
Join some organisation for senior citizens, where you can find new friends and stay occupied in your leisure time.
Please get blood sugar, hemoglobin, thyroid function tests, serum calcium, vit d3, b12,done and medicines can be taken as per results.
