I visited Dr Karishma for Ear Infection (Pus in ear). Since mine was the last appointment for the doctor and I was late, she was about to leave when I entered the clinic. But during treatment, I never felt she was in hurry. She listened to everything that I had to say and later explained the diagnosis in detail. She cleaned the infected ear and went out of her way to check the other healthy ear as well. (I had visited another doctor in past for a similar problem and he hadn't even look at the other ear). She also gave suggestions to avoid similar problems in future. She later said that there was no medication required and prescribed only drops and an ointment (I already had one ointment and I wanted to know whether that would work. I had to call home and ask for a picture of the ointment. The whole time, she waited patiently, kept the conversation going, and later told that the existing ointment would work). She also explained the probable next stage of treatment, if it doesn't heal; and also comforted me that it would definitely heal unless I don't take suggested precautions. I wasn't charged extra for ear cleaning.
